Why are the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses number #1 in our test?
The Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are the best smart glasses in our test mainly due to the high quality in various aspects such as design, functionality, comfort, brand reputation, user experience, compatibility and privacy features.
What are Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses?
The Ray-Ban Meta’s are a pair of glasses that are worn just like regular glasses. They connect with bluetooth to your smartphone and work as an extension to your smartphone. The glasses can be purchased with prescription lenses and you can select between different frames and lens colors. These glasses offer cool functions thanks to the integrated technology in the frames such as video recording, listening to music, and much more.
Who are the Ray-Ban Meta's for?
The Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are for people who want to experience the many benefits of owning a pair of smart glasses. If you want to answer phone calls, record videos, livestream, take pictures, listen to music, use AI voice assistant and much more without having to pull out your phone all the time from your pocket, then these smart glasses are for you.
Imagine you want to film special occasions such as your child building a sand castle, your dog running on the beach or your latest hiking experience, everything you look at will be recorded, you’ll have more attention and focus involved in each moment. If you use prescription glasses don’t worry, Ray-Ban offers different lens colors, frames and prescriptions. The Ray-Ban Meta’s are available in two different sizes, M and L and if you’re unsure you have a size guide available on their website.
What are Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses key features?
The key features of the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses involve camera recording, livestreaming, photographing, listening to audio, fast charging and AI voice assistant. Yu can perform all of these without pulling your phone out. Just like many other devices the connection between the glasses and the smartphone is done with bluetooth and by utilizing the Meta View application, the smart glasses are compatible with operating system Android 10 and above or iOS 14.4 and above.
Lightweight classic Ray-Ban design
The Meta’s have a stylish design, it doesn’t matter which model you pick, Ray-Ban’s never disappoint when it comes to design. The glasses feels light, they feel like wearing regular glasses. These glasses weigh about 50 grams, to compare it with regular Wayfarer Sunglasses which weigh about 45 grams it gives a 5 grams difference, meaning all high-tech hardware integrated in the glasses such as camera, LED lamp, speakers and more only weigh 5 grams all together which is quite remarkable.
Video recording eyewear
You can capture the world around you in unprecedented details with the ultra-wide 12-megapixel camera 1080p 30fps situated on the outer corner of the left lens. Livestreaming and informative videos have never been easier. To start recording you simply hold the button on the right top side of the frame and the LED will continuously flash. Keep in mind that the flash is not like the flash function on a smartphone, it’s a tiny discreet white LED-lamp. You will be able to notice in your peripheral whenever you’re capturing content because the lamp is on the actual frame which is quite nice.
Not only can you record moments with these digital glasses, you can also take 3024 x 4032 resolution photos by just pressing the same button on the top as you would for video recording which makes these smart glasses perfect for capturing moments, for instance you’re a traveler and want to record or take pictures of everything you see by simply using your spectacles.
Meta view app available on App store and Google
To use the smart glasses you must have the Meta application installed on your smartphone. All your recorded videos and pictures can be found in the application. You can easily import the data to your camera roll on to your Iphone or Android device
Privacy concerns
On the right side of the frame there is an built-in white LED-lamp that goes on while you’re recording, this is mainly due to privacy matters. One important subject Ray-Ban and Meta had to deal with was privacy and that there needs to be something indicating that the glasses are recording, that’s why there is a small built-in LED that pulses while recording to alert you or people around you that you are video recording.
Speakers
You can listen to music, audio books and podcasts from the speakers which project downward toward your ears. The sound quality is acctually surprisingly good and you can easily enjoy audio wherever you go. The speakers are open-ear and audio can be heard by others when you maximize the volume in quiet areas, this is somewhat expected due to the design, if you lower the volume a bit it’s pretty difficult to catch what you’re listening to. The volume can be controlled by swiping on the frame. You can turn up the volume by swiping forward or back to turn it down.
Multiple microphones captures every sound
With five different microphones the sound capturing works pretty good. While trying these smart glasses the person on the other side never had any issues hearing us when we were speaking. Going through our recorded content we noticed that all our and other people’s voices were captured, so if you want to create content and capture audio or livestream and talk to your followers, you can trust these microphones.
AI voice assistant – You can ask AI voice assistant to read or do different things for you such as:
“Hey Meta, what’s 50 times 10”
“Hey Meta, when is the next solar eclipse”
“Hey Meta, spell subconcious”
“Hey Meta, take a video”
Most of us have used Siri, Alexa or other voice assistants before but for us it feels extremely practical to do it with a pair of smart glasses. What’s truly amazing is when you ask Meta – “Hey Meta, look and tell us what you see”. The camera goes on and Meta will literally analyze your environment and tell you what’s infront of you.
Battery life and Storage
The battery on these smart glasses should last up to 4 hours for moderate usage which according to Meta is (capturing and syncing up to 100 videos or up to 500 photos per full charge). We always had the charging case with us and it provides up to 36 hours of use. There were days the battery would run out when we were using them while traveling, but usually you’re outdoors more when you’re on vacation so that might be the cause. Using them back home was never an issue for us, mainly because we would always put them in their case after using them.
With 32 GB storage the Meta’s offer a capacity of roughly 500 pictures and 100, 30 second videos. To us this is more than enough, if you’re worried and think you’ll need more storage, simply use the app to easily transfer the files to your smart phone on a regular basis.
Classic Ray-Ban charging case
The design of the charging case is pretty neat—it looks just like a standard Ray-Ban case and has a USB-C port at the bottom. There’s an indicator LED on the front of the case that shows whether the glasses are charging or fully charged: orange means charging and green means charged.
No USB-C charging cable
Yes you read it correctly, there is no charging USB-C cable included in the box when Ray-Ban ships these glasses so if you don’t have an adapter + charging cable it will be difficult to charge the Meta’s.
Lenses and frames
Prescription are available and you can chose between different lens and frame colors. We purchased the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarers with transition lenses which are pretty cool. We planned to get the regular sunglasses but we wanted to try out the transition lenses since they’re extremely practical. Basically whenever we’re indoors the lenses are clear, and when we’re outside in direct sunlight the lenses transition to sunglasses, the transition is extremely smooth.
Why should you buy the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses?
Because they’re reliable, if you want eyewear that looks good on your face, has a comfortable fit, provides decent high tech functions such as camera recording, photographing, calling contacts, livestreaming on Instagram or Facebook, AI voice support and is designed and launched by experienced companies then you should consider purchasing a pair of RayBans with Meta’s integrated technology.
The Ray-Ban Meta’s are also not the first smart glasses launched by the two companies, it’s acctually a much more improved pair of smart glasses compared to their previous model the Ray-Ban Stories which were launched by Ray-Ban and Facebook. We believe Ray-Ban Meta’s stands out compared to their rivals, they’re expertise in the field of eyewear combined with Meta’s experience in the field of technology is hard to compete with. There are no doubts in our minds that they’re already working on the successor of the Ray-Ban Meta’s, also we have to admit that owning a pair of Ray-Bans never feels wrong.
Our oppinion about the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses
It’s amazing to get a first person perspective, what you see, the video sees. The fit is great, they look just like regular glasses with a thicker frame but it’s nothing that captures the eye. We think the price is reasonable, they could definately be sold more expensively considering the many different functions incorporated in these glasses and if you are going to invest in a pair of sunglasses, why not add some extra dollars to get the Meta’s. We liked the fact that we were able to select between different lens and frame colors and that Ray-Ban offers prescription between -6 to +4 range.
No cable included
The strategy where everything which once was a guarantee now we’re being charged for is a strategy big corporates aim for and that has to mainly do with finance. The less parts they ship to their customers, the more money they save. Usually big companies promote this by relating it to the environment with the aim to reduce waste. To me, this is absolutely insane, if we buy something we want to be able to use it without worrying if there is a charging cable in the box or not. To believe that everyone owns a USB-C cable is a bit insular and if the aim is really to reduce waste, atleast allow the customer to choose between different options.
Limited recording time and vertical shot only
Although these smart glasses can video record, play audio and act as our digital buddy they still have some downsides. The fact that we could only video record for 60 seconds could sometimes feel annoying, for instance we wanted to film playing with our dog, but after 60 seconds the video is stored and we had to restart recording. We understand that these glasses were designed to mainly be used for Instagram stories, Instagram Live, Instagram reels, Tik toks or any other platform targeting shorter clips, but it would’ve been cool to be able to record for atleast 5 minutes and hopefully in the future we’ll see some update to exceed the one minute limit.
Another caveat is that vertical video is all you can record on the Meta glasses which also is another implication that these smart glasses are not designed for Youtube videos or long form content. Overall we like these smart glasses, they look cool, they fit perfectly and it’s kind of cool to be able to do so much with just our glasses. We wished they had some AR incorportated in the lenses but we’re clearly heading towards having more advanced smart glasses in the near future considering that AR and VR are gaining more popularity and are estimated to have a significant market growth in the next five years.

Why are the Razer Anzu smart glasses number #2 in our test?
Razer Anzu came on second place in our test of best smart glasses thanks to it’s low latency audio, water-resistant design and blue light lense filtering.
What are Razer Anzu smart glasses?
The Anzu smart glasses are a pair of glasses launched by a company called Razer which a world leading gaming brand. These glasses can connect straight to your gaming console, smart phone or laptop using bluetooth and deliver 60ms smooth low latency bluetooth connection for a stuter-free sound.
Who are the Razer Anzu smart glasses for?
If you’re a person who does not seek to video record with your smart glasses but instead want to use them for other use cases such as sitting in front of a screen, listening to music while on the go, or making phone calls, the possibilities are many. If you work behind screen then you’re probably familiar with terminal glasses. With the Razer Anzu you’ll get both terminal glasses and high tech features.
Blue light filtering makes these perfect for work
You might have heard of terminal glasses which are eyeglasses designed for use cases staring into a screen. The lenses in terminal glasses offer blue light filtering and amazing as it is the Razer Anzu’s have the same features, meaning that they protect your eyes by blocking blue light. The glasses are designed to reduce the amount of blue light that reaches your eyes. With Razer Anzu’s you can connect to your device and use them as headphones at work. It doesn’t matter if you sit by your desk all day or attend meetings in different conference rooms, you will have a less chance to forget your headphones or glasses if you have both in one device.
Low latency audio
The gaming-mode offers low latency audio to deliver smooth stutter free sound. Razer are popular for their gaming products and I’m not surprised they installed a gaming feature in their smart glasses. Switch between music tracks, control playback, handle calls, and summon your smartphone’s voice assistant effortlessly using the touch sensitive control on the temples of the eyeglasses. Cool gaming design, good audio and fine protection for your eyes is pretty cool to have.
What are Razer Anzu smart glasses key features?
Razer Anzu smart glasses include blue light filtering and polzarized lenses, low latency audio, built-in microphone and speakers, voice assistant and more.
Design and fitting
The Razer Anzu’s are available in two different shapes, square and round. They’re also available in shiny black and you can either get them in small or large. The Anzu’s also come with a set of clear lenses in addition to the polarized lenses and both of them feature a blue light filter. You can pop them off and switch them out pretty easily. The Razer Anzu has a small gap in between the frame and the arms, which allows the arms to be more flexible when putting them on.
Audio
The speakers on the Razer Anzu’s are pretty solid, we found them to be pretty comparable to the Ray-Ban Metas. The volume can go pretty high in these speakers which are built into the frames, this is good when you’re playing games. They offer a crisp and clear sound and you can choose between normal mode or gaming mode, whereas the gaming provides low latency audio ensuring the people you communicate with hear you loud and clear.
Microphone captures sound perfect
We tried the Razer Anzu’s while playing Apex with our friends on a Sony Playstation 5 and they had no trouble hearing us. We also use the built-in microphone in these glasses when we’re at work or when we’re working from home, they are ideal for exampe when making calls in Microsoft Teams meetings. With just a short press you can activate whatever voice assistant you use on your smartphone. These glasses work with Google, Siri, or Alexa and activates easily with your voice.
Battery duration
Razer says the battery life for the Anzu’s is up to 5 hours which to us has worked perfectly fine. At work we charge them during lunch with the USB cable we recieved in the package so they last the entire afternoon too. We also want to point out that the Razer Anzu’s shuts down when we fold them, this is mainly for conserving power.
IPx4 water resistant
Being water resistant the Razer Anzu smart glasses are splash proof and sweat resistant making them perfect for going on runs or working out.
Why should you buy Razer Anzu smart glasses?
The Razer Anzu helps protect your eyes with blue light filtering and is extremely practical to use when you no longer need to connect your headphones seperately. They are one of the best selling smart glasses on Amazon and since Razer are one of the world leading gaming brands they are reliable, basically they know what they’re doing.
Makes life easier
they’re so popular yet much cheaper compared to regular computer glasses which also have blue lens filtering incorporated in the lenses but are more expensive. With Razer Anzu’s you’ll get protective glasses with cool tech functions incorporated for a cheaper price. We use them working from home or in the office all the time and we replaced our regular terminal glasses with these and we have to say it’s one of the best things we’ve done. The audio in the speakers works just fine and when we speak our colleagues hear us loud and clear.
Versatility
The Razer Anzu’s are also available in two different frame types and sizes, the glasses are water-resistant IPx4 designed which means they’re not affected by sweat or weather. Another reason why you should consider buying the Razer Anzu’s is because you’ll get polarized lenses in the package too! By simply applying firm pressure and pushing the transparent lenses out you can replace them with polarized lenses when you’re going out and want to be connected to your smart phone.
Our oppinion about the Razer Anzu smart glasses
The Razer Anzu’s are smart glasses which are great for screen entertainment or work. To be able to have headphones and blue light filtering smart glasses in one feels nice, especially considering their price. The speakers do a pretty good job in delivering sound and we like that they’re available in two different sizes and styles. For us it would be nice if the glasses lasted more than 4 hours at work so we didn’t have to charge them in the middle of the day. We think the battery life can be improved a couple of hours, especially considering there is no camera to use to drain the battery. We didn’t notice much difference between normal and gaming audio mode and if there was any difference it was not obvious. We believe the audio gaming mode is a feature that Razer could incorporate in one standard mode because we always want the best audio to be played from our speakers, so we don’t really see why they thought that two modes were necessary.
Razer says that the Anzu’s are water-resistant IPx4 which is quite nice. When we tried these smart glasses during our running sessions we didn’t get that extra boost as we would like as we do from for example in-ear headphones. For us audio is super important and it gives us that extra kick which we require during harder workout sessions but with open-ear speakers we couldn’t get that, this is more our personal preferences. For meetings and gaming sessions the audio was perfectly fine. To sum it up we would say these smart glasses do a good job in protecting our eyes, delivering solid quality audio and capturing sound.

Why are the OhO Sunshine polarized smart glasses number #3 in our test?
If you search for the best selling smart glasses on Amazon you will find atleast three to four OhO Sunshines on the first page. The company has a huge amount of varieties in their collection offering different key features and they are gaining more and more popularity amongst smart glasses enthusiasts. We included three different OhO’s in our test and analysis (two are further down on this page) and based on our research we placed these pair of packed-tech spectacles on third place thanks to it’s price, many different key features and cool design.
What are OhO Sunshine polarized smart glasses?
OhO SunShine polarized smart glasses are regular glasses with added technological features. The tech is added to the temples next to the hinges and is easily accessible and manoeuvred. OhO have released several different models the past year and all of them have one thing in common, that being the name Sunshine. These specific Sunshine’s are polarized and ideal for sunny days, they’re currently the best selling smart glasses on Amazon with over 1000 units sold in the past month.
Ultraviolet protection
UV 400-labeled sunnies give you almost total protection from those nasty UV light rays. They block wavelengths up to 400 nanometers, including both UVA and UVB rays. UV rays are basically the sun’s way of shooting out electromagnetic radiation.
Keeping your eyes safe from UV rays isn’t just about protecting what’s inside. It’s also about keeping your eyelids safe. UV protection stops those harmful rays from causing eyelid cancer. Your eyelids are like little guards for your eyes, but without UV protection, they’re much more at risk to develop cancer.
Who are OhO Sunshine polarized smart glasses for?
The OhO Sunshine’s with polarized lenses are for those who seek to purchase latest high-tech sunglasses. If you’re currrently considering buying smart glasses and also need some shades to use on the beach, then the OhO Sunshine’s polarized model might be the glasses you’ll need. You can do so much more with these glasses when it’s sunny outside, for example laying on the beach listening to music from the built-in speakers on the temples, or why not listen to an audio book?
The OhO Sunshine’s do not come with transparent lenses, so if you’re looking for a pair of smart glasses where you can swap the lenses by yourself, then we would recommend the Razer Anzu on second place in our test and analysis of best smart glasses.
Convenient smart glasses
We started to wear these glasses in early spring 2024 and tried them in the park. We listened to audio books and we found it very convenient to be able to listen to audio books straight from our eyeglasses rather than carrying a book with us. If you’re someone that enjoy the little things that makes everyday life easier and more enjoyable, then we would say to you invest in a pair of smart glasses and the Oho Sunshine’s are really nice, they’re not too expensive and they offer many different key features.
Can be used as sports glasses
Another good feature about these smart glasses is that they’re sweatproof, so if you’re somebody who likes to wear sports glasses when your active you can definately use these glasses to do that. It can for example be when you go for a jog, a long walk, a hike, walking your dog, or bicycling. You simply don’t have to worry about them stop working. We tried these glasses specifically when going for a jog and atleast I’m a person who sweats a lot, we used them several times and never faced any problems. We never tried them while swimming and you shouldn’t do that because they’re not waterproof, only sweatproof, so if you use them at the beach be careful not to bring them in the water with you.
Don't have to pull out your smartphone
We want to mention another great benefit with smart glasses is that you don’t have to reach in your pockets to pull out your phone all the time. We used these glasses with voice assistance while jogging and it felt pretty good. Imagine how comfortable it can be to perform smartphone tasks straight from your digital glasses. For example you’re playing beach volleyball and want to call your friends, or you wish to have an eye on your dog while making a call, the oppurtunities are many.
What are OhO Sunshine polarized smart glasses key features?
The OhO Sunshine’s offer many different key features. We tried all of them and were quite satisfied with the results. Let’s start with the connection which is made with bluetooth, we connected our smart phones separately with bluetooth to these glasses and the device was found within a few seconds. The design is unisex so it’s not really a masculine or feminine design to these glasses and they’re not uncomfortable, they sit relatively good on the face and the bridge does not put alot of pressure on the nose.
Catching sound
We used the voice assistance on these and the glasses did a pretty good job finding our voices with the microphones located on the sides in the temples. It might sound as if it’s pretty straightforward if the device has microphones it should record all sound, right? In our previous test and analysis we’ve analyzed different electrical devices and noticed that some companies don’t invest a lot in having a decent pair of microphones on the glasses, this is vital because without being able to catch the sound properly you will have difficulties using some of it’s features such as voice assistant, making phone calls and more. When it comes to the OhO Sunshine polarized the microphones felt pretty solid and voice assistance was easy to use, basically we didn’t have to repeat ourselves all the time for Siri to understand our commands.
Music from your sunglasses
When we tried these smart glasses we played audio books, spotify and watched reels on Instagram and it worked without any problems. The speakers are pointed towards yor ear and offer relatively good sound, just don’t expect any massive bass to be pumping through these speakers. The most comfortable places we used these digital eyeglasses were sitting in the park and laying on the beach.
Open-ear speakers and sound bleed
The speakers on the OhO’s are good and do what they to do, they’re open ear speakers which means that the sound is played towards your ears, unlike the in-ear headphones which are directly put into your ears and offer a much more better sound. With open-ear speakers you can’t really expect the sound not to leak if you have high volume. Wearing these glasses we noticed that the sound leak is not very noticable in crowded areas, for example we used them in the central station waiting for our train to arrive and increased the volume to max, taking of the glasses and holding them in our hand we couldn’t hear the music playing. On the other hand when we sat on the train and used max volume, the person sitting next to us could definately hear what we we’re playing.
Controls
The volume can be controlled with the Volume Up, Volume Down, Forward and Backward features. You can answer calls by simply clicking one time on the button on the temple, double-click to activate voice control, it’s pretty straight forward.
Battery life
Smart glasses don’t have the same battery life as many smart phones, like most other devices the battery life depends highly on how much you use them. The battery time on these based on OhO is up to 10 hours, and for us that is more than enough. We always charge these during night to keep them going the next day. On one occasion we used them for 8 hours and then they died so it all really depends on how much you use them but you don’t have to worry about them going off after an hour, that’s for sure.
Why should you buy OhO Sunshine polarized smart glasses?
If you are going to invest in a pair of sunglasses and you want to try owning a pair of smart glasses then we would recommend the OhO Sunshine’s polarized model to you. Simply because they’re not expensive, they offer many key features you want in smart glasses even though they can’t be compared with the more expensive models such as Ray-Ban Metas, they still do a pretty good job. They’re good for relaxing and putting your smart phone away, you don’t get distracted by all the notifications from the different apps. If you have an active lifestyle and want a pair of sports glasses then these do a pretty good job too, they’re sweatproof and comfortable.
Our oppinion about the OhO Sunshine polarized smart glasses
Oho Sunshine’s are one of the best selling smart glasses online. They come in many different shapes and varieties for an affordable price. These polarized smart / sun glasses are comfortble, offer many key features and available for less than $40 USD. You will not own a pair of Rayban’s when you purchase these but the price OhO offers today is unbeatable, and because smart glasses are relatively new most of the purchasers try out smart glasses for the very first time. Maybe it’s a good idea to not invest over$200 USD for a pair of digital eyewear if it’s your first pairs, we like that the option available to us to pay much less and still try out the most of the key features different smart glasses offer today.
Growing market
The field of digital eyewears is rapidly growing and it’s estimated to be worth about $5.66 Billion. Fast forward to 2023, and it’s estimated to have grown to around $6.24 Billion. Looking ahead, experts predict that by 2031, it could soar to an impressive $13.68 Billion. That’s a pretty hefty growth rate of 10.3% between 2024 and 2031.

Why are the Echo Frames (3rd Gen) number #4 in our test?
In our comprehensive test and analysis over best smart glasses, the Echo Frames – 3rd Gen secured the impressive position of #4 for several compelling reasons. Firstly, their innovative open-ear audio architecture and custom-built speaker driver significantly enhanced sound quality, providing an immersive listening experience. Additionally, their long-lasting battery life, offering up to 6 hours of continuous media playback and 14 hours of moderate usage, showcased remarkable endurance for all-day use. Furthermore, their seamless integration with Alexa and intuitive user interface made for effortless interaction and control, elevating the overall user experience.
What are Echo Frames (3rd Gen) smart glasses?
There are five different designs in the Echo Frames series and this is Amazons latest version of Echo Frames. All distributed directly from Amazon, they’re all exclusive to Amazon only. The Echo Frame smart glasses are a regular pair of glasses that you can wear, whats different compared to regular glasses is that both temples have microphone, speakers and some action buttons, all built-in the temples. This allow you to put your glasses on and hands free work with Alexa appliation on your smartphone.
Who are Echo Frames (3rd Gen) smart glasses for?
Echo Frames (3rd Gen) can be used by anyone who wants a pair of smart glasses in their everyday life. The design is neat and very much similar to regular glasses making them ideal neat smart glasses. The 3rd Gen launched by Amazon contains some upgrades compared to their previous versions, for instanc the battery last longer, sound is way better and the frames are thinner.
After putting the Echo Frames through their paces, we can confirm that you can enjoy up to 6 hours of uninterrupted media playback or experience up to 14 hours of moderate usage. In our trsting, moderate usage entailed 2 hours and 30 minutes of media playback, 1 hour of talk time, along with interactions with Alexa and incoming notifications intermittently throughout the day. We found that folding the frames when not in use was an effective way to conserve battery power, as it automatically turned them off.
Digital assistant and three times improved audio quality
You can be hands free and work with Alexa without having to take your phone out of your pocket. You can play your music, switching back and forth between tracks, play certain playlists, make phone calls and write text messages by using only your glasses. The Echo Frames also boast a custom-built speaker driver and a revamped open-ear audio architecture, enhancing sound quality and bass 3x compared to the previous generation. The refined dipole configuration precisely directs sound towards your ears without obstructing them, simultaneously reducing sound leakage to ensure privacy for those around you.
The cool thing about listening to the music is that there is nothing that plugs into your ears, there are speakers integrated in the temple that points towards your ear. If you’re already wearing glasses and you want a litte bit of tech built into the glasses and do the things that you like to do like listening to music then you will definately enjoy these smart eyewears.
Charging base
Charging the Echo Frames was straightforward in our experience. We simply placed the glasses with the lenses facing up on the charging stand. A pulsing white light indicated that the stand was detecting the smart glasses. Once the glasses were properly positioned, the blinking light transitioned to a solid color, which depended on the battery status. During charging, a solid orange light indicated that the frames were actively charging, while a solid green light signified that they were fully charged. In our analysis, we found that Echo Frames (3rd Gen) reached a full charge in approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
How to charge Amazons Echo Frames eyeglasses
To get started, plug the USB-C side of the included cable into your charging stand and then the USB-A side of your cable into an outlet, laptop or safety certified USB adapter.
Insert your smart glasses into the charging stand with the lenses facing up, a pulsing white light dispays while the stand detects your smart glasses. When proper placement detected, the blinking light goes to a solid color depending on the smart glasses battery status. A solid orange light means the frames are charging and a solid green light means the frames are fully charged.
If the charger is blinking red, this means there was an error detected in your frames. To fix this, try to remove the Carrera frames and re-insert. The digital eyeglasses should not tilt and impact correct placement. Use the contact points above as reference.
Spectacles and frame dimensions
Echo Frames 3rd Gen can be purchased with different lenses making them versatile to match your preferences and needs. Doesn’t matter if you’re going to use the glasses at home, at work or on a vacation, you can choose between clear, blue-light filtering, prescription and sunglass lenses. There are three different sizes available for Echo Frames 3rd Gen, narrow, medium and wide.
You can make manual adjustments to the frames by applying heat to the center of the glasses. So if you want to make the temples go out or make them tighter you can bend them inwards or outwards.
We wrote to Amazon and asked about the cleaning process and they emailed and instructed us to wipe the glasses with a clean soft cloth. Important to note is not to add any alcohol spray on the glasses.
What are Echo Frames (3rd Gen) smart glasses key features?
In order to utilize most of these glasses, you must register your frames and activate your frames through your Alexa application on your smartphone. There are certain smartphones that you can’t use with the Echo Frames 3rd Gen, you must have an Android version 9.0 or newer, or the iOS version 14.0 or newer to be able to utilize these smart glasses with Alexa.
Design and Comfort – The design is neat and with the thin frames these smart glasses look very similar to regular glasses, they weigh only 37,6 grams! The devices charging stance is made from 35% recycled materials and Amazon claims that 95% of this device packaging is made of wood fiber-based materials from respnsibly managed forests or recycles sources.
Battery – It takes 2,5 hours to fully charge the battery and according to Amazon you can get up to 6 hours of continuous media playback or up to 14 hours of moderate usage. Moderate usage includes 2 hours 30 minutes of media playback, 1 hour of talk time, 20 Alexa interactions, and 90 incoming notifications, all intermittently throughout the day.
Charger – The smart glasses comes with a charging cable.
Speakers – Echo Frames speakers direct sound to your ears without covering them, while minimizing what others around you can hear.
Microphone – Built-in microphones and speakers allows for hands free communication where you’ll never have to pull out your smartphone.
Water and sweat resistant – Water and sweat resistant IPx4 classification.
Voice assistance – Utilize Alexa on your frames.
Customazible buttons – You can customize your buttons to manually control your smart glasses with Alexa. The buttons are designed to be easy to find and give you instant control. Use the Front and Back Action buttons to control calls and notifcations, to turn your microphone on/off, start and pause music to talk to Alexa. Use the Volume Control button to control the volume of your smart glasses.
Lenses and Frames – The Echo frames can be purchased with prescription lenses. To get prescription lenses added to your frames, check out their in-person and onine options. The frames have high quality titanium metal surrounded by silicon temple tips.
Why should you buy Echo Frames (3rd Gen) smart glasses?
The Echo Frames 3rd Gen offers cool features where you literally don’t have to pull out your smartphone all the time. For us, this was really nice as we often feel our neck is pointing down but with smart glasses we could literally look straight ahead and still be able to send messages, make phone calls and listen to music. The pricing is also relatively nice considering the quality you’ll get. The frames are made of titanium, a regular pair of glasses which have titanium frames are not very cheap, if you put spend some extra dollars you will get a pair of decent good looking high quality smart glasses with cool tech features.
Amazon is a reliable company
Amazon, which is currently the biggest online marketplace have launched the Echo Frame smart glasses, and in our experience Amazon have always provided extremely good customer service to us, they usually reply to us emails within 24-hours, offer a legit customer service policy in terms of guarantee, shipping, returns and much more. You don’t have to worry about recieving a damaged/unreliable product and if you do, you can most likely discuss this with Amazon and come to an agreement, so Echo frames with regards to trustworthy we would say is another reason why you should purchase these smart glasses.
Our oppinion about the Echo Frames (3rd Gen) smart glasses
The Echo Frames 3rd Gen are good solid reliable smart glasses. We think it’s really great as we’re walking around wearing glasses we can recieve notifications right through our ears. We didn’t have to look down on our smart watch or pull out our smart phones, meaning we can interract with much by only using our smart glasses and still be very present.
We enjoyed having the option to customize the buttons to match our preferences. We chose the setup where we hold down the front action button if we want to skip a song and the back action button to use Alexa. The Echo Frames 3rd Gen are easy to pair with new devices and holding down both buttons at the same time enables pairing the device. We like that we have a charging stand that we can easily charge them upon. Overall we think the Echo Frames 3rd Gen is a great product and we believe it’s good that they continue improve the design as well as the funcitonality with their latest 3rd Gen release with many improved features.

Why are Carrera smart glasses number #5 in our test?
Another pair of smart eyeglasses from Amazon are the Carrera’s. They look futuristic with their big lenses and wide bridge. We ranked these smart glasse on 5th place in our buyingg guide. The design on these glasses differ quite a lot compared to the Echoes, but the tech in them are very similar, you’ll get many of the key features as speakers, microphones, voice assistance and more with the Carrera’s too.
What are Carrera smart glasses?
Carrera smart glasses offer many key features and a cool futuristic look. These digital eyewears can be purchased in two different styles, the black and gold cruiser and the black sprinter. We selected sunglasses with the black & gold cruiser style because that’s what they had in stock when we ordered, if you can’t find the ones you want in stock be patient and wait, we noticed that these glasses get re-stocked quite often after visiting Amazon.com regularly.
These smart glasses are compatible with Android 9.0 or greater and iOS 14 or greater.
Who are Carrera smart glasses for?
The Carreras are slightly wider smart glasses compared to most of the digital spectacles we’ve tried and that is how they’re designed. These smart glasses only come in one-size which is “wide”. So if you have a wider head then these might fit you even better compared to the other smart glasses we’ve worn. On us we think they looked a bit big but that is also the whole purpose of the design, they’re not discreet eyeglasses.
Unisex design
The Carrera’s are a unisex model like most of the smart glasses. The black & gold style can be used for both females and males, in our team of two we are husband and wife and while reviewing these digital eyewears we didn’t ever feel like they appear feminine or masculine. Unisex is also something that has become much more popular in recent years so we’re not surprised that masculine and feminine design’s are coming closer to each other.
Mazzuchhelli italian acetate
Some of the parts in the Carreras are handcrafted with premoum acetate in Italy to deliver excellence in innovation and quality with focus on tradition and craftsmanship. Acetate is stronger, flexible, and more durable than regular plastic frames, which is why they’re used for high quality eyeglasses frames. They can withstand more pressure upon the frames and bend further without breaking.
Charging the Carreras
The Carreras, just like the Echo frames also come with a cool charger stand. Both smart glasses are Amazons own and it’s not a surprise that they’re valid for both glasses. We think it’s quite nice that a charging stand is included in the package because glasses are sensitive and a minor scratch on the lenses can make the glasses lose it’s value quickly. For most of the glasses we had to be careful to charge them because they didn’t have anything to charge upon, but with the charging stand it becomes much more convenient and user friendly to charge the device.
Proper placement of the smart glasses can only be detected when the glasses are placed correctly on the charging stand. First a pulsating white light will display while the stand detects your Carrera’s, and when detected the blinking light goes to a solid color depending on the smart glasses battery life status. A solid orange light means the glasses are charging and a solid green light means the digital eyewears are fully charged. It takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to fully charge these glasses.
Alexa as your best friend
The Carrera’s are designed with Alexa to assist you managing everything. We asked Alexa questions like:
– Hey Alexa, call John
– Hey Alexa, what’s the weather forecast for the weekend?
We never had any issues with the glasses catching our commands or providing us with information, meaning the microphones work pretty good in capturing the audio and the speakers do their job in delivering sound. According to Amazon the Carrera’s have four microphones integrated in the temples (2 in each temple).
What are Carrera smart glasses key features?
Carrera offers many different key features and they’re very much similar to other smart glasses developed by Amazon. They are water and sweat resistant to withstand the elements of a misty sunrise hike or a fun afternoon on your favorite city rooftop.
Bigger design, good comfort and extremely light
Carrera’s are designed to be slightly larger on the face. You get to pick between two different configurations: Sunglasses and Blue-light filtering glasses. The blue light filtering is nice if you’re going to use them in front of a screen and the sunglasses are convienient if you’re going to use them outside in the sun. The comfort is good despite them being a bit larger compared to other smart glasses. Usually when eyeglasses are larger they can sometimes feel heavy on the nose, especially around the bridge on the nose.
The carreras are very lightweight and weigh only 46.3 grams, the temple tips are made from soft-touch silicone with a lightweight titanium temple core. Temple tips are easy to adjust and designed to improve comfort behind the ear.
Solid battery
For a full charge you’ll need to charge the Carrera’s on the charging stand for 2 hours and 30 minutes. We went out with these glasses on a full charge and used them for moderate usage finding our directions with Alexas help and they lasted the 7 hours we had them turned on. In terms of battery Amazons smart glasses do offer quite a good battery duration.
Gray gradient lenses
The Carrera smart glasses come with grey gradient lenses to reduce glare featuring a dark to light two tone tint. Grey gradient lenses are known to reduce eye fatigue in bright light conditions. With gray gradient we noticed some glare reduction and a better overall visibility. Note that there is a difference between grey gradient and blue light filtering, the gray gradient is valid for their sunglasses model only.
UV protection
These Amazon developed sunglasses offer UV400 protection. To put it into perspective, the highest UV protection rating offered is UV 400. According to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, you should choose sunglasses that block 99% to 100% of UVA and UVB rays, and UV 400-protected sunglasses fulfil this.
Open-ear audio
With open-ear audio, Carrera Smart Glasses featuring Alexa seamlessly channel sound directly to your ears without obstructing them, all the while minimizing sound leakage to those nearby. This innovative design keeps you connected to your surroundings while enjoying immersive audio experiences.
The sound was good on these glasses just bare in mind that if you listen to max volume you will have some sound leak, this is the negatives of having open-ear audio, because the audio is not going directly into your ears as they do with in-ear audio headphones, instead the soundwaves travel towards your ears.
Why should you buy Carrera smart glasses?
You should buy the Carrera’s only if you’re into the big design that they offer, and the design is exactly what makes these smart glasses different compared to it’s rivals. There aren’t many smart glasses which offer the style and fashion that comes with the Carrera’s. If you believe they look good and you have the extra bucks to spend, give these digital eyewears a go and try them out, you can easily order them on Amazon which is super convinient.
Our oppinion about the Carrera smart glasses
We truly enjoyed reviewing Amazon’s Carrera smart glasses. They look cool, they feel light and comfortable and they offer good quality functions. We do recommend these glasses to you if you enjoy the larger summer style design. They’re extremely lightweight and we never felt them being heavy on the face. If you’re going for sunglasses and you want to purchase an amazon product, then the Carrera’s might be the smart glasses you should invest in. These glasses are easy to handle, they are super convinient and you can enjoy the sunshine with Alexa instead of having to pull out your phone all the time.
In terms of price the Carrera’s are a bit more expensive compared to Amazon’s other smart glasses such as the Echo Frames 3rd Gen. These digital eyeglasses are only available in one size, so if you have a smaller head then the Carrera’s might look too big on you. Last but not least, these glasses do not have a camera in them, so if you wish to film content then that can’t be done with these smart glasses.

Why are the OhO Sunshine 4K smart glasses number #6 in our test?
The OhO Sunshine 4K smart glasses ranks as the fifth best choice in our research because they provide a excellent video quality and are great for capturing fast action shots.
What are OhO Sunshine 4K smart glasses?
OhO Sunshine 4K smart glasses are a pair of smart glasses that can capture 4K video quality. These smart glasses can be connected to your smartphone with bluetooth/wifi. Some OhO Sunshine models use SD card but this one has a built-in 128GB memory card. We tried the 4K variant because we were interested in the high video quality these glasses can record. OhO Sunshines come in many shapes and forms and suit many different preferences and needs and by doing this OhO can reach many different target groups, despite offering different features in the different models, the naming seems to be the same for all of them (OhO Sunshine).
Who are OhO Sunshine 4K smart glasses for?
Having tried the OhO Sunshine 4K Smart Glasses, we believe the primary target group for these smart glasses are people who want to capture their moments in high quality. If you’re an outodoor enthusiast, content creator, fitness enthusiast or traveler who wishes to capture POV shots then these glasses are the best smart glasses to do just that. We don’t only write this because these glasses are the only glasses we’ve tried on that can capture 4K, but also because the design of the glasses are ideal for fitness enthusiasts. The 4K Sunshine’s are water proof which we believe is a mandatory if you’re going to use them for an active lifestyle.
We emailed OhO and they responded and confirmed that the OhO Sunshine 4K glasses are in fact waterproof and that they can be used for different water sports (“Yes, they can be used for different water sports including surfing, water moto bike or rainy weather conditions”).
Video configuration
You can switch between 1080p and 4K is pretty good, you can adapt the recording quality based on your needs. Maybe 1080p is enough for you, if it is then you can save up to 30 minutes more video recording time compared to the 4K which offers 30 minutes record time. To give you a better understanding over how saved 4K content looks with these smart glasses, see image below:
Enable Audio recording
An important factor to bare in mind is that the glasses are sometimes delivered with a setup configuration that does not allow audio recording. This happened to us and our first reaction was how did OhO think here? Ofcourse we want our audio to also be recorded, because you can always edit the audio afterwards. As many other people also do, we started searching online and found that many other buyers faced the same issue and that we had to manually go into the configuration file in the glasses and change a few settings. We created an instruction for this problem if you ever get your glasses delivered and find that no audio is being recorded.
We don’t know why OhO delivers these glasses with standard configuration Audio recording = No. We’re not sure why OhO have decided to deliver the glasses with no audio recording configuration set as standard, but luckily with some minor work we got it to work. Simply connect the glasses to your computer and open the configuration file with a text editor such as Notepad:
By default, the camera is configured not to record audio. However, enabling audio recording is a simple task that involves modifying the configuration file. Just locate the option asking if you wish to record audio and change the “N” to “Y” (yes) to activate audio recording.
Additionally, users have the flexibility to adjust the video image quality according to their preferences. This can be done through the settings, allowing for customization to suit specific recording needs.
Change “N” to “Y” in top where it says [Update Configuration{Y/N}]
What are OhO Sunshine 4K smart glasses key features?
Some key features of the OhO Sunshine include video recording, taking pictures, listening to music and more. But this all depends on which OhO Sunshines you intend to buy.
Design and Comfort – Trying out the OhO smart glasses we have to say they are quite comfortable on the face, they’re not like the Meta’s but they still feel pretty light and ergonomic during extended wear.
Video recording – 4K video resolution 2880×2160, 24 fps allows you to record high quality content, we could also easily switch to Full HD 1920×1080.
Taking pictures – You can take high quality pictures with the OhO Sunshines 4K.
Microphone – Built-in microphones record sound without any problems. We never had any issues with the glasses not capturing the sound after changing the configuration file in the glasses.
Battery – The battery life is 30 minutes when filming 4K on a single charge, OhO encourages to use a power bank to recharge your glasses while on the go.
Storage and Capacity – The storage capacities of the built-in memory card is 128 GB. You can select other variants with more storage capacity.
Lenses and Frames – These glasses have black frames and 100% UV 400 protection with polarized lenses. We like the style of the glasses and that you can change the lenses to color you need for your situation.
Why should you buy OhO Sunshine 4K smart glasses?
Investing in the OhO Sunshine 4K smart glasses gives you the possibility to capture high quality content wherever you are. If video quality is your top priority and you’re not interested in playing music, voice assistance, answering calls and just want to focus 100% on video recording or taking pictures, we would say to you should purchase the OhO Sunshine 4K.
Below in the picture you can see what is included in the package OhO sends to you, we found it pretty cool being able to change lens colors by ourselves.
There are various 4K models OhO and the main difference is storage capacity. You can choose between 32, 64, 128, 256 and even 512GB storage capacity.
Our oppinion about the OhO Sunshine smart glasses
While the OhO Sunshine 4K Smart Glasses boast impressive advancements in wearable technology, it’s crucial to address two significant drawbacks: limited battery life and a complex setup process for enabling audio recording.
Firstly, the glasses come with a battery life of just 60 minutes for 1080p recording, necessitating frequent recharging or the use of a power bank for extended recording sessions. This limitation can be difficult, particularly for users engaging in longer outdoor activities or professional recording sessions.
Additionally, configuring the glasses to enable audio recording requires a detailed process that may pose challenges for some users. The hardcoded configuration file must be accessed and modified on a computer, which involves potential risks if not executed correctly. The instructions provided are incomplete and require careful attention to detail to avoid damaging the glasses.
Despite these shortcomings, the OhO Sunshine 4K Smart Glasses still offer a versatile and stylish solution for capturing life’s moments with exceptional clarity and convenience. Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, content creator, fitness enthusiast or traveler, these glasses empower you to document, share, and relive your experiences in vivid detail.
In conclusion, while the limited battery life and complex setup process for audio recording may present challenges, the OhO Sunshine 4K Smart Glasses remain a valuable tool for enhancing visual storytelling and connectivity in today’s digital age. With their impressive features and capabilities, these glasses are worth considering for individuals seeking to elevate their recording and sharing experiences.

Our oppinion about the Lucyd - Nautica smart glasses
While Lucyd – Nautica smart glasses undoubtedly offer an impressive array of features and style, they face stiff competition in the smart eyewear market. What makes these smart glasses stand out is the possibility to engage with Chat GPT and offering key features that many people seek in smart eyewear. While they are good in certain aspects such as reaching out to many consumers thanks to it’s versatile collection of design and lens colors, they may fall short in terms of sound quality. The sound leak is more compared to the other smart glasses we’ve worn.
Overall, Lucyd – Nautica smart glasses are a solid choice for those seeking a balance between fashion and functionality, but they may not be the top pick for users prioritizing certain specific features such as sound quality.

Why are the Doviico smart glasses number #8 in our test?
These smart glasses have built-in microphone, speakers, voice assistant and much more. In our thorough evaluation, the Doviico collection of smart glasses claimed the 8th spot, attributed to a blend of factors. Despite presenting innovative features and a stylish design, they were outpaced by superior rivals in particular features such as comfort and sound quality.
What are Doviico smart glasses?
Doviico creates different smart products and use different online sales marketplaces to sell their products. We found them on Amazon and noticed that they were selling relatively well on the major marketplace. We were curious and decided to include them in our test and analysis for best smart glasses. We couldn’t find any official website for Doviico so we visited their online shop on Amazon “Doviico Store” and found out that they’re selling different smart products such as smart watches, smart glasses, cables and more.
Doviico have between 10-15 different smart glasses selling on Amazon and the one we’ve decided to try are their best selling smart glasses product. Unfortunately they didn’t name their models differently which we think is a bad marketing strategy, especially because buyers will have it difficult to diffrentiate between their products, this is similar to the OhO Sunshines which we also included in our test and analysis of best smart glasses. Ray-Ban does a pretty good job in naming their products, they don’t just name everything Ray-Ban, instead they name their models differently depending on their design, such as Wayfarer, Headliner, Aviator and more.
Who are Doviico smart glasses for?
The Doviico smart glasses we would say are for the person who doesn’t want to spend too much money on a pair of smart glasses and is going to wear the glasses less than four hours in a day. The Doviico’s are not the most comfortable smart glasses, they can feel a bit heavy after an hour of wear so if you’re someone who’s sensitive to wearing a pair of glasses which don’t feel comfortable on the face we suggest you look at the other produtcs we recommend.
Comfortable eyewear is not your priority
Doviico smart glasses can also be for someone who wants to have smart glasses and don’t really care about comfort. These smart glasses offer most of the key features that the smart glasses offer in our review over best smart glasses. They have an in-built microphone to capture your voice, speakers where you can listen to your favorite songs, audio books etc, voice assistance to instruct the glasses to perform tasks without having to pull out your phone, blue-light filtering if you want to use them at work behind a screen or in meetings and the glasses comes with polarized lenses if you wish to use them at the beach. So these glasses cover most areas, but still the comfort can’t be overlooked.
Only one-size frames
If you want a big variety of frames to choose from, then the Doviicos might not be the glasses you should look into. We could only choose between two different colors, Glossy Gold and Glossy Silver. You can’t select different sizes, these glasses come in one size:
These Doviico smart glasses to us don’t look like sport glasses, they look like ordinary glasses you wear in a regular day at home or at work. Instead of focusing on making the glasses waterproof we think Doviico could pay more attention to other areas such as improving comfort and sound quality.
What are Doviico smart glasses key features?
Doviicos best selling smart glasses key features based on our review:
Voice assistance – Use google or siri as voice assistance.
Bluetooth connection – Connect to your smartphone with bluetooth.
Microphone – Built-in microphone allows for voice assistance and phone calls.
Speakers – Open-ear speakers which allows you to play your favorite music directly from your glasses.
Battery – The battery life is 4 hours with music playback and 6 hours for calls.
Waterproof– IPx5 classified smart glasses offers waterproof glasses.
Lenses – Blue light filtering on the transparent lenses makes these glasses suitable for working behind any screen. You will also get polarized lenses in the package which you easily can swap by yourself and use at the beach.
Why should you buy Doviico smart glasses?
The Doviico smart glasses do offer many of the features available on the market for the majority of smart glasses and they are pretty descent smart glasses for under $50 USD. In our guide we managed easily with the help of voice assistance make phone calls, send messages and listen to music but it had it’s downsides. The glasses felt heavy on the face after more than 1 hours of use compared to many of the other smart glasses we tried on.
To sum it up, if you want relatively cheap smart glasses and don’t bother if they feel heavy on the face then the Doviicos can be the smart glasses you should look into.
Swapping Doviico transparent lenses to polarized lenses
Many manufacturers now include polarized lenses to swap by yourself. When we tried this it worked fine, at start it was quite scary to use a huge amount of force on our glasses, we simply followed the instructions provided by Doviico on Amazon which was quite convenient.
1. Push the lenses out from the inside with your thumb.
2. Locate the corners, the lens have different coners, one is more rounded. The polarized lenses are flexible to be bent slightly. Start by placing the lenses on the frames as shown in the below picture, then you need to adjust the other corner towards you by holding the frame and slightly bending the lenses.
The lenses will get dirty so you might want to clean them after swapping lenses. That’s why it’s always good to have a clean wiping cloth with you if you’re going to do this outside.
Our oppinion about the Doviico smart glasses
Based on our test results the Doviico smart glasses offer many of the key features that can be found today in a pair of smart glasses, also the price is relatively cheap compared to many of the other smart glasses we suggest. As many other smart glasses which can be found on Amazon, they lack in product information and overall reliability.
The comfort and sound quality are the major downsides of Doviico. To make them more comfortable to the face they have to redesign the frames, and to improve the sound quality they must seek for better quality speakers. The speakers in the Razer Anzu which is a much more comfortable pair of glasses placed on 2nd place in our list offer a much more crisp sound.
Overall Doviico smart glasses have many features to offer and is waterproof IPx5 classified, they still lack in terms of comfort and sound quality, therefor we decided that these smart glasses come on 7th place in our complete guide.

Why are the OhO Sunshine BT smart glasses number #9 in our test?
The OhO Sunshine BT (bluetooth) are one of the cheapest if not the cheapest smart glasses you can find on Amazon. Considering their cheap price, key features and customer reviews, we’ve decided to place these budget friendly smart glasses on 9th place in our test.
Affordable smart glasses
The OhO Sunshine BT is one of the best selling smart glasses on Amazon marketplace. More than 1000 units have been sold just on Amazon in the past month and sometimes you can find these digital eyewears on a discount for only $9.99 USD! We were really eager to wear these goggles, mostly since OhO does not charge much for these glasses and because they’ve gotten so many good reviews online.
What are OhO Sunshine BT smart glasses?
The OhO Sunshine Bluetooth smart glasses are developed by OhO. The company is not popular, atleast I’ve never heard of the brand before. They specialize in the field of smart glases and the OhO Sunshines BT must be the best cheapest digital eyewears available on Amazon. The price fluxuates between $9.99 USD – $30 USD we think that still even at it’s peak without active discounts $30 USD is cheap for a pair of smart glasses. Their Sunshine models vary, this is their inexpensive version available and you can select different frames and lens colors, just note that the price will increase if you do so.
Many different OhO Sunshines
Despite its cheap price the OhO Sunshines BT offers many key features such as UV protective lenses, bluetooth, speakers, microphone and voice assistance. There are many other types of OhO smart glasses available and they’ve named the different models the same. Sunshine’s come with many different features, this specific bluetooth variant does not have a camera, so if you’re looking for good smart glasses to create content we suggest you look at the OhO’s further up on this page.
Who are OhO Sunshine BT smart glasses for?
The OhO Sunshine BT are for you who wants a pair of affordable smart glasses and at the same time try the many features digital eyewear offers today. Ofcourse the features are not as fine as the more expensive versions but still the difference is not superior. If you want a pair of high quality smart glasses you must invest a little more, that goes for almost everything, but because the smart glasses market is still under high speed development, even the most affordable smart eyewears have most of the features but simply with a milder performance.

Why should you buy OhO Sunshine BT smart glasses?
The OhO Sunshine BT are an extremely valuable pair of goggles. If you’re unsure about whether you’re going to enjoy using smart glasses or not and you don’t want to spend too much money finding out, then we would recommend you to invest in some OhO’s, and if you enjoy the features level up and buy better digital shades.
Planning to invest in shades?
If you’re already planning to invest in a pair of sunglasses why not try these Oho’s and get packed tech in the bargain. For less than $30 USD you’ll get pretty decent glasses. We used these at the beach, running in the park, while walking, driving and we have no specific complaints. The only obvious downside is the design, these glasses are unisex and in terms of appearance the temples do seem slightly bigger, but it’s nothing that affects the comfort, on the contrary they sit quite well on the face and don’t feel heavy.
Our oppinion about the OhO Sunshine BT smart glasses
The Oho Sunshine’s BT are good smart glasses with regards to their price. They do offer many key features but still they lack in quality and design. The design in these eyeglasses make them appear slightly bigger in comparison with other digital eyewear models out there. They do feel a bit bulky but if that is not important to you and you want to invest in a pair of affordable smart glasses with many features then we can definately recommend these spectacles.

Why are the IVY TWS smart glasses number #10 in our test?
Ivy’s smart glasses made it on 10th place in our test and analysis. It was quite a close call between the Ivy’s and the Doviicos which is currently ranked on 8th place, but due to the difficulties in pairing the Ivy’s with our smart phone’s we decided to place these smart goggles on 10th place.
Trouble pairing
We’re not sure why our smartphone’s had a difficult task to find these glasses, we didn’t face any issues with the other smart glasses. We decided to research online and found out that not all but a few other buyers were having the same issue. It might be a sporadic issue on the manufacturers side or maybe they’re just difficult to pair. We’re unsure what the problem might be but we definately experienced that our smartphone’s had a tough time finding the glasses.
Design has room for improvement
Ivy Tws smart glasses are quite large on the face and the design can be worked on. For us they felt big and clumsy, some of the smart glasses do a really good job in copying the standard design glasses offer today but we did not feel that with these smart glasses, they’re certainy not discreet. Many of the companies involved in smart glasses try to design glasses that don’t look too much different from ordinary glasses, because not many want to walk around with major glasses with thick temples.
What are IVY TWS smart glasses?
Ivy’s store on Amazon sells a number of different products such as covers for macbooks, cooling fans for cellphones and more. Their smart glasses are not very popular on Amazon and we had to scroll many pages after filtering on best selling to be able to find them on the product list.
Ivy Tws smart glasses are computerized digital glasses with key attributes enabling the user to make phone calls, use voice assistant, listen to music and more directly by only using the glasses. We’ve not seen any other smart glasses launched by Ivy so we assume these are their first ones.
Who are IVY TWS smart glasses for?
The Ivy Tws are for people who aren’t afraid to be indiscreet. The combination of having high tech installed in the frames automatically requires more space and thicker temples, this combined with the already larger design makes them stand out in terms of size.
The Ivy’s can be purchased with two different designs, a black frame and a transparent frame, so if you’re a fan of being able to choose between many different lens colors and frame colors we suggest you to look at the OhO Sunshine’s which we believe have the highest variation of lens and frame colors in smart glasses. You can check them out here.
According to Ivy these smart glasses are not waterproof, meaning they can’t be used for sport activities or bad weather conditions. All the other smart glasses we’ve tried so far have had some kind of defense against moisture, but these don’t.
What are IVY TWS smart glasses key features?
To utilize the tech features on the Ivy’s you must connect to them with bluetooth. We mainly used them for phone calls, voice assistant and listening to music in Spotify. The key tech features in the Ivy’s exist mainly thanks to the speakers which plays sound and the microphone which catches sound, and that goes for most smart glasses. As mentioned earlier the pairing to our smart phone’s were troublesome for us to accomplish since our smart phone’s couldn’t locate the smart glasses, we pretty much never faced this issue with the other pairs of smart glasses we’ve tried.
Battery life
The battery endurance on the IVY TWS are 5 hours if you’re listening to music and 4 hours if you’re primarily using voice calls. We tried the battery life and the results was equilavent to what Ivy portrays.
The glasses will go off if they’re not connected to any device within 5 minutes to preserve battery life. When charging these smart glasses they will automatically shut down within 5 minutes as well.
Extra lenses
The smart glasses are shipped with extra pair of polarized lenses. The standard tansparent lenses do have blue light filtering which makes them ideal for screen work. If you plan to swap lenses during lunch at work before you go out on a walk we wouldn’t recommend you doing this because of how dirty the glasses become. You can’t overlook the fact that you must press with your fingers all over the glasses if you want to swap the lenses.
Touch enabled
The frame is equipped with a touch sensor, which can be maneuvered with a gentle touch. You can play and pause music, forward and backward in your tracklist, call for voice controll, answer calls and more.
Sound needs improvement
If you intend to buy the Ivy’s just bare in mind that the sound leak was a bit more when set to max volume compared to it’s rivals. The speakers are pointed towards the ears but there are many aspects to consider in these cases such as design, quality and locaiton of speakers and more..
Why should you buy IVY TWS smart glasses?
If you want affordable smart glasses with a larger design on the face then we would recommend you to purchase the Ivy’s. Personally we’re not a big fan of huge glasses but some people are and you might be one of them. These glasses do offer the very same technological attributes as other smart glasses do with a slight bit of difference in size and control.
Touch sensor
One main key factor that makes these digital eyewears different compared to it’s rivals is the touch sensor on the temple of the glasses. Many of the smart glasses we recommend have buttons, it’s still quite unusual to have a touch sensor on the temples in the world of smart glasses, probably because if you sweat or walk in the rain it can become quite frustrating if the sensors activate due to moisture.
Our oppinion about the IVY TWS smart glasses
Having most of the key tech features available with a futuristic touch sensor is quite cool, but there are still somethings that we can’t overlook. The big frames just doesn’t work for me, we want our smart glasses to be very similar to regular glasses in terms of design, in other words want them to blend in but yet offer cool tech functions.
A touch sensor on the temples might sound cool, but in reality it’s quite annoying if you use these glasses in bad weather conditions or when you work out. Have you ever had water on your smart phone screen and managed to navigate using the touch sensor? If you have then you know what I’m referring to. We walked with the Ivy Tws smart glasses in the rain to try and see how sensitive the touch sensor was. The result was expected, the touch sensor could not appropriately be used when wet.
To sum it up, we would not recommend these smart glasses if you’re looking for regular size glasses or if you’re planning to work out with them, and in terms of sound the Ivy’s are on the downside and have room for improvement.
